Children’s HeartLink

Reimagining the possibilities in the fight against childhood heart disease

Art Direction, UI/UX Design, Web Design, Prototyping

  • Children’s HeartLink, a Minnesota-based non-profit, sought to elevate their messaging and digital presence to boost awareness and drive more donations through their website.

  • Our work included a thorough content audit and copy overhaul, a new sitemap, wireframes, and a complete design system, all built and implemented into WordPress for their continued use.

  • Collaborating with Copywriters and Strategists, I led the design from concept to implementation, ensuring a seamless and effective online presence for the organization. I also elevated their current brand, expanding the color palette, typography, and visual elements to amplify their presence in the digital space and ensure accessibility.

Interactive map

Given Children's HeartLink's partnerships with hospitals worldwide, showcasing their global reach in an engaging and easily scannable manner was crucial. To achieve this, I designed a robust interactive map highlighting their areas of operation and the locations of their partner hospitals, effectively illustrating their extensive impact.

As part of the new website design, I developed a comprehensive design system that encompassed an expanded color palette, a carefully calibrated type scale, essential icon specifications, and a meticulously curated library of components and component blocks. This initiative ensured a cohesive visual identity across over 50 pages and provided clear guidance to developers during the WordPress site implementation.
