Perdue FlockLeader
Commanding shopper attention with an
All-American design
Packaging Design
-
Perdue needed a standout name and package design for their new backyard chicken treat of black soldier fly larvae. They wanted to underscore that their product was made in the USA, distinguishing it from competitors.
-
In response, we conceived "Freedom Fly" as the name and I created a patriotic design that prominently showcased its American origins. This approach not only grabbed shoppers’ attention on the shelf but also communicated Perdue's commitment to domestic quality and reliability.
-
Collaborating closely with the Creative Director and leveraging client-provided copy, we developed a striking patriotic design inspired by the American flag. To ensure standout visibility on the shelf, we selected a vibrant royal blue that sets it apart from competitors. The design features dynamic slanted graphics to evoke excitement and urgency. Additionally, red highlights and a starry background pay homage to the flag, enhancing the overall patriotic theme and capturing shopper attention effectively.
